Animal Rescue Coalition of NJ

Membership Requirements

Voting Membership is open to all community organizations and individuals that express a belief in the coalition’s purpose and meets the following criteria:

Organizations:

	Primary focus is to rescue and/or place and/or provide assistance for stray and homeless animals.
	Shall not be a municipal or county shelter.
	Its membership should be primarily non-paid volunteers.
	Should be non-profit, 501c3 and/or incorporated in New Jersey
	M`ust support the Coalition’s mission statement.`

Individuals:

	D`emonstrate a concern for animal welfare.`
	S`hall not manage a municipal or county shelter, or be an employee of a municipal or county shelter.`
	`Must be 18 years of age or older.`
	M`ust support the Coalition’s mission statement.`

Voting members are eligible to hold office and vote on issues as presented by the Board.

The membership fee is waived for the first year, to allow members a chance to see what the coalition is doing to achieve our goals. After the first year, the membership fee is $25 annually for organizations and $15 for individuals.
